Police officials in Bothwell, Washington reported that a woman crashed her automobile in the early hours of Friday, January 5th, 2018. There were no injuries reported in the car accident but authorities did tell newsgroups that it suspected the motorist was intoxicated at the time of the collision.
The crash occurred near where Bothell Everett Highway intersects 240th Street SE. The woman suspected of a DUI (driving under the influence) went through a guardrail, toppled into the nearby Country Village shopping center and complex, and ended up with her vehicle on its side. Reportedly a temporary power outage was also caused by her vehicle hitting into a power pole.

As details of this accident are still being investigated, it is not known if charges will actually be brought against the suspected driver. Authorities have not released her name, nor did they state any recorded blood alcohol concentration (BAC) level in initial reports. This might be indicative of the inability of police investigators to find grounds for charges yet.
However, it is not unusual for someone to be charged with a crime months after it occurred. In Washington, the state technically has up to two years to decide whether or not it wants to file charges and prosecute someone for a suspected crime. It is possible that investigators are taking their time and will bring a case forward against the unnamed motorist when ready.
